I made my own checklist with spaces to write in notes and service dates so I have a permanent record of maintenance for everything in my house. I look at it on the first of every month and perform the tasks or schedule service appointments. The only one I do out of order is the chimney sweep. I typically call and schedule for sometime in September ahead for the season when they are not busy. Come "cooler" weather, they are booked solid.
