First have your soil tested by your local State Ag. Extension. They will recommend what you need to make your soil great based on the results which they will share with you..
I just plow mine under in fall add cow manure that has been setting for while then disc or plow that in. Then before snow till it up good. Then in spring do that again.
Hi Anh,
At the end of the season, add cow manure, if you add it too early it will burn the plants and you'll have nothing. Put it in then and mix well, it will mellow over winter.
You might have to do some expermentation to see what grows well based in your soil.
If you go to plants that love acid soil, you'll see what to plant, same for alkaline loving plants.
Thank you.
