Go to your local nursery for advice. They will give you best advice for your area and will have the products needed to fix the problem.

I would go online or call your local county extension service and they can tell you exactly what grass to plant and even do soil testing for you so you know what to add to the sand/soil for your grass

We are seasonal residents , winter only, so do not want to worry about the lawn in the summer...
