How to put grass down under my trees that will grow?

I have lots of trees out front of my home and grass won t grow .what kind of grass grows in full shade. Do I need to pu t New soul in before doing it. Thank you.

What type of trees do you have? Some trees it is impossible to grow grass under them.
Hi. Grass will grow in dappled sunlight, but at this time there's not a lawn grass that will grow in complete shade. Consider having your trees thinned. This will provide shade, but allow some light to filter through. Then grow zoysia. Good luck!
