I live in an apartment building but want to grow fresh herbs. Help!

Depending on space you might consider a window box planter for summer and bring them inside in bad weather.

Plant in pots.

Herbs grow beautifully in windows.....Using small pots you can just place them in the window....or hang them using cup hooks. Check Pinterest or Hometalk for some great ideas. Sun and water is all they need....and maybe a little MiracleGro fertilizer a few times a year.

I bought a cheap over the wall shoe holder at WalMart. Cut a small X in the bottom of each pocket, stuffed a coffee filter in the bottom, filled with potting soil and planted an herb in each pocket. No cross contamination as taste goes, easy to water and I have it right outside my door---herbs right at hand
