https://www.countryliving.com/gardening/garden-ideas/how-to/g789/ground-cover-flowers-0509/ It depends where you live Judy, but here is a list that might help you to get started on what you might like to try. Also, talk to your local nurseries and ask what they recommend for your area. With research on sites and local advice, you should get a good idea what you need. Hope this helps.

Hi Judy!
It depends where you live what will be easy and do well. Check with your local Agricultural Extension office for suggestions that will work in your area.
I hope that helps

Try Japanese pachysandra! My parents used this all over the outside of their house and it is very easy to spread as well. I think it can be rooted easily. Hopefully this grows well in your area.
How about white clover? You don't need to mow it, is soft underfoot, fun to roll in, drought tolerant and replaces nutrients in the soil.
