Call your county farm agent for local info- they are always helpful

Unless you have done this before with roses, I wouldn’t, based on my very limited knowledge of Indiana. But if you have a sheltered side of the house, or a way to protect the bush from freezing weather out in the yard, then you could try. You might could use a bucket and a waterproof line with a lamp to keep the bush from freezing down to the roots. Best wishes 😇🍁

From what I have read, zones 5-11 you can plant them now in Indiana if the ground is not frozen!

As long as the ground is still workable you can plant them.

I live in Michigan and bought 3 knock outs 6 years ago. Only 1 survived our harsh winters even with burlap around it. My other roses were just fine, but knock outs seem me to be less hardy than others. BTW, my roses were planted in a protected area. Good luck!
