there are plant stakes you can place around the tree, the width of the drip line of where the leaves are, they are nutrients that help the tree, good inexpensive start to getting trees back to life :) something called tree spikes - forget the exact name...

Rule number one....never fertilize trees that are in trouble....you must find out what the cause is.....It could be natural shedding or you could have insects.Check for any signs of webbing or white cottony balls on the trees...https://byf.unl.edu/natural-needle-drop
Long slow soak overnight! The roots extend out to the tips of the branches, so make sure that area is wet. Unless of course, you are having too much rain.
