Plant grass seed in the spring after possibility of frost is gone. Use a spreader for even and continuous flow. You can follow that with a roller to ensure the seeds are packed into the earth and will not blow away with the first gust of wind. Water gently so that the seeds do not float away. Water again when there is no rain and dirt looks dry. Grass will spring up in a couple to three weeks. Good luck!

Make sure that it's warm enough and that it wont freeze
