If the snowmobile is a permanent pleasure and bound to do this each winter what about doing a hardscape with an attractive colour of stones or even patio pavers and so on. If not reseeding is the best way to go but that has a wee trick. Make a mixture of one third earth, one third compost and one third contractor sand. The perfect mix for grass growth and a yearly light spread of contractor sand will keep you grass growing beautifully because the roots work hard to get down through the sand which creates the very deep roots we want for the least amount of watering and maintenance. I do hope this helps, but if you need more we are here to help Mary O'Brien.
