How do I start a greenhouse garden?
I'm growing on the patio this year in pots and i'm thinking to buy a small greenhouse to get my flowers and vegtables started to keep safe from birds and criters digging them up before I can get them started . Any one been thru this . Looking for greenhouse suggestions

What's the best flower/plant to grow in Texas?

If your goal is more to start seedlings for spring planting you might find success with a homemade cold frame and not have to buy a small greenhouse. For instance:

You can find lots of information and videos online by doing a google search "how to make a cold frame." If you're like me and not handy at all (plus I don't have the right tools and little motivation), you could buy a "mini-greenhouse" or cold frame for well under $100, and then there are these that may work in your situation:

I always start my tomatoes and red maples in a Mini-cupcake container and egg containers, and let them grow to a size large enough to transplant them into 2 Regular Cupcake containers.
In my first year of homeownership I saved these cupcake containers year round...
Birthdays, Easter, Christmas, etc. I now reflect on that and realize: Boy did I eat a lot of cupcakes.
