Any artificial flowers that come in bouquets would look nice in a window box but the ones that will last all summer without fading are the ones from Hobby Lobby. They truly are the very best for quality!
Ones that wont fade and are not too tall, so they will not blow out with strong winds. Bet you can come up with some beautiful arrangements, try putting some together in the store for the effect for the size box you have.
mimic real life as much as you can, like geraniums; I would not spend a great deal of money because they will fade over time with the elements and you will have to update to make them look fresh.
Fading can be a big issue, imho-if in sunny location. Ive had floral wreaths fade and deteriorate. I wonder if the flowers made for a cemetery use would be the most fade resistant ones?
