What can I do with two 4 ft square 30” garden boxes on my lawn?

These boxes are made of garden ties with about 12 inches of rock in the bottom of them before the soil. Do you have any ideas to re-purpose them to be an attraction in our yard.

These are very cool! I would plant vegetables in one and flowers in the other , or combine. Try to create a small garden with a structure to it such as bean poles or tomato cage for sweet peas! It will be fun and a focal point for your yard!

Don’t plant anything edible without totally lining the boxes with heavyweight plastic. Garden ties are treated with pesticides, which is why they last. Not all of those pesticides are good for you, obviously. Before 2004 they were also treated with arsenic.

Water feature sounds nice. It won't hide the flowers in the beds behind it. Thanks!
