Peas, broccoli, cauliflower, greens, tomatoes, squash, ect!!! Start your plants indoors and give them sun protection when you set them out. You may need to make PVC frames with hoop house plastic if your cold weather comes in early.

The best time for desert gardening is in the fall!

Read your seed packets to get an idea of how many days until germination and also days till harvest to choose varieties of plants.

I love the idea of 4' tall garden beds!
