Scotts! Lowes has a store brand, it's a couple bucks cheaper but just as good in my opinion
use scotts or specitiicide weed and feed.weed killer and fertilizer in one
Scotts products are reliable, bit more expensive than some of the others -- but you get what you pay for -- be sure to follow the directions as to temperature, moisture, etc.
Depending on any neighborhood covenant restrictions, please consider greatly reducing your "lawn" area. Lawns regularly turn into weeds if herbicides and pesticides are not regularly applied, or constant hand weeding every weekend. They also require lots of water. There are very low-growing ground covers that look wonderful and take little water. Explore options with local horticulturalist or university/County Ag dept trained master gardener. This is the perfect stage to make better ecological decisions for your yard. Your redo could become neighborhood example.
I finally got sick of buying one product after the other to fight weeds. Finally called TruGreen. $40 a treatment for 8 treatments a year...not a weed in sight!
They fertilize, weed spray, spray pre-emergence, put out lime...we just watch our pretty lawn grow.
The severe rains and snows this year did our lawn no good. Here is a photo from last year. This is kind of dark, but taken in July before my trees were ruined by Irma!!!
The new Scotts was a failure, have not tried the other two
