The best is natural, 2 year old manure from a farm or ranch. The best is sheep, then chicken, then any livestock manure. If you don't have access to agriculture, we use Miracle grow on them. Tomatoes like coffee grounds and tea grounds, pureed egg shells, and epsom salts. For any other fertilizing Miracle grow is the best.

Use only organic. Your local nursery should be able to help you with items available in your area. Stay away from big box stores.
