Make sure you have enough light where you put them to keep them healthy. You may need a grow light if they are in full sun all day. Your house will be dryer due to the lack of humidity with the heat on, so you may need to water a bit more frequently. Spray your plants with water, making sure to get the underside of the leaves to dislodge bugs, you can put horticultural oil on the plants to make sure you get all the bugs.
"Potted plants provide instant greenery outdoors, and many tropical and tender plants benefit from summers spent in the warm sun. Unfortunately, insects are also attracted to these lush plants, and they can burrow deep into the potting soil. Eradicating the insects prevents them from invading your home or spreading to your other houseplants."
