Learn How to Make a Succulent Wreath

I was overjoyed to have authors John Gillespie & Christina Symons of the fabulous garden craft book, Everyday Eden: 100+ Fun, Green Garden Projects for the Whole Family to Enjoy (Harbour Publishing) on the blog. They shared how to make this stunning succulent wreath. I know you will head out to the improvement store to make your own after you see this. For full post information see http://gardentherapy.ca/semper-viva-wreath/ you can also enter to win a copy of the book, Everyday Eden!
A lush living wreath is easy to make and can be placed in the garden or use it as a table centrepiece for special occasions.
To make this beautiful wreath you will need a wreath form with a liner, potting soil, a knife, sand and a selection of succulents.
After you fill the wreath form with sand and potting soil, you will reassemble the wreath form and make holes with a knife where the plants will go. For full instructions and a complete listing of succulents used visit the blog.
You can grow your living wreath for many seasons or simply replant the succulents back in your garden when you are done.

I am new to the succulent world and living in Iowa doesn't make it any easier. Could you please give me some advise on where to buy large orders for succulents at a decent price. I would love to make the succulent wreath and not break the bank Allison myers. Thanks

That is what I was thinking as well. I really love this project but, it would cost over 50.00 or more just for the plants.
