Can someone tell me why my red peppers are growing like this :- (?

i have attached a pic of it and how it looks when it gets to this size. btw i am growing them on my porch in a pot

Has there been a lot of rain or are you overwatering?
Look up pepper blossom end rot on the internet.
Hi Karen - I have some that look like that and I believe it's blossom end rot. It caused by uneven watering. Like watering a ton and then letting the plant dry out. Pick off all the peppers that have it and then start watering every day around the base of the plant. Good luck!

It's blossom end rot, similar to what tomatoes get. Yes, peppers can get them. Try adding Epsom salt to your soil, about a tablespoon around the base of each plant. Make sure you are watering consistently, too. Each spring get a soil test done so that you know what to add to the soil to prevevnt it.
We live in Indiana and parral a garden approximately a 150' long and 60' wide we plan approximately 80 tomato plants and 80 pepper plants Along with 18 rows of corn and several other things, my husband always puts one tablespoon of epson salt into the soil places the plant adds water covers it up waters very good then sprinkle 2 tablespoons of epson salt on the top of the ground then as we have such a large garden he uses a 2 and a 1/2 gallon sprayer and he will place 2 cups of Epsom salt in the tuna half gallon sprayer make sure it is dissolved very good we usually use warm water then 2 weeks intervals you want to spray your plants this helps keep the blight away it's really badd here in Indiana and I'm assuming probly and several garden areas hope this helps
