How to choose tomatoes and peppers for my small patio garden?

I would like to do a small garden on my deck or patio. What are the best tomato plants and peppers for this using pots?

I love cherry tomatoes - I always get so many! My dad grows them in buckets so pots would work too.
Look for varieties that are labeled bush or patio type.

Check with your local plant nursery for the type of bush tomatoes and bush peppers (what type? Hot?) that grow well in your climate. Make sure you have enough sun and water more as pots dry out quicker than if they were p/anted in a bed. Have fun!
