An Easy Way to Hide Cords/Electrical Wires

I wanted to keep my Entertainment/TV stand open, but all the wires could be seen at the back - simple solution, we added a backing to the stand, painted it the same as the walls and now everything blends in perfectly {We have brick walls, so no way to hide it behind a panel type wall} The "open" look is still there, which is exactly what I wanted.
Can you see the difference {or the backboard for that matter} ?
