Home Office Makeover

After moving into a new home (new to me) last fall, I've been working room by room to transform it more into our own space. One of the first projects that I started was turning the old home owner's baby room, into a home office.
Before, the shelves were and off white and chipped. The paint was an awkward baby green.
The walls had to be patched from old nail holes. There was also a bit of unevenness that I used a small piece of sandpaper to smooth out all of the rough bits.
Before deciding on paint colors, I tested with two different samples. Ultimately I went with Sherwin Williams in Georgian Bay but reduced by 25%. The color ended up being stunning!
The color is beautiful! I painted the trim white as well so everything now looks much brighter and cleaner.
The shelves were given a fresh coating of white paint to make them brighter against the blue. A lot of the items you see came from Facebook online yard sale sites! That small brown cabinet was only $10!
I even created a small television space in the office to be able to watch the news during the morning. This space now feels like my own personal heaven. Just some blue paint, a little bit of hard work, and the room is complete!
