I'm so excited about this little project in my new blogging office - I can barely contain myself! A couple of months ago, we had contractors open up the closet space to widen the door and incorporate an old built-in that was facing the hallway and serving very little purpose. In doing that, it created this little 3-foot nook in my new office. Immediately, I knew I wanted to bling it out and make it girly... But I had zero budget. Like zero. Okay, five bucks :P
I've been known to swoon over Kate Spade stuff. She just speaks to me. I love her playfulness and her use of polka dots. So with Dollar Store black contact paper and my trust circle punch, I went to town and stuck polka dots all over my closet!
I moved a storage shelf in and filled it up with a mixture of office supplies and jewelry and inspirational tidbits :)
Oh! And of course, I added some gold washi tape to my Ikea storage bins too!
Five bucks! Dollar Store for the win! I can't believe I found a spot in my house that I could dress up with polka dots :) For more on this project and the progress we're making on this entire room renovation, please hop over to our blog www.diypassion.com! Thanks so much for reading!
