L-Shaped Desk made from scratch

My son is moving into a new room - NEW MAKEOVER! and we started with building him an L-shaped Desk, his only requirements: must be black,L-shaped and which corner. Using off-cut timber & old shelves, this is what we had come up with.

The table tops were originally, swing doors then shelves and now desk tops. I took measurements from the tops and we built the bookshelf at the end. We added a single leg to the other side for stability.
The two old Swing doors/shelves came in handy in this project.
