Mother's Old, Rusty, and VERY Heavy Desk Made New!

My Husbands Mother gave this to his Grandmother many years ago.
It had been through a fire, and years of neglect.
My Husband really needed a good desk, so here it is! All cleaned up and painted, really happy with all my hard work, Every year I do a "surprise" gift for father's Day, this is his for this year.
Brown and turquoise is such a pleasing color match for me. He LOVED it!

I have the exact same desk in the basement. If I could figure out how to get that super heavy desk outside, I would do this! You did a great job!

This was out in our back garage, it took me nearly an hour just to get it freed up. Then I took our lawn tractor, tied a rope to it and the desk, and drug it all the way to the back of the house, and after it was all done and ready to come in the house, my brother in law helped me get it in the house. It was quite the task, and I doubt I would do it again, but I get these crazy ideas in my head sometimes and think I am a Superwoman! Lol...
