I’ve been looking for a desk for my daughters room for some time . I finally found this piece on letgo for $40 I sanded it down , and boi it needed it! Then I painted it with a charcoal chalk paint . I wanted to have it match the small dresser/vanity I previously did for my daughter so I painted the drawers blue chalk paint . i Bought both paints for Home Depot for $16 . I spray painted handles and knob gold . I used a stencil for front and back of desk face . I did a gold streak top to coordinate with gold knob and handles . It two coats of each paint to finish the desk . I love it and more importantly my princess loves it !!! I hope this inspires you to create your own personalized refinished piece !
