Updating an Old Desk Chair

I decided that it was time to add some color to the drabness of my Mom's den. I started the makeover by covering this old desk chair. It was chrome and black. Not for long!
This is how the chair looked in its original form. Boring black leather and chrome metal frame.
The first step was to remove the seat and back cushions.
This is the chair frame after removing the cushions. After removing the cushions I spray painted the frame with a primer + paint. Now it is a matte black.
This is the chair cushion before I updated it.
Using the removed chair cushions I cut my fabric which I already had on hand to the size needed to cover the cushion and began pulling the fabric around the cushion and stapling to the bottom side of the cushion. It was simple enough and worked pretty nicely!
After spray painting the frame and covering the chair cushions I reassembled the chair. This is the finished chair. Wow, what a difference a little paint and fabric make! This is just my first change...
