Vintage Secretary Makeover-Antibes Green

On a recent visit to my local second hand store I was thrilled to come upon this little gem. A sweet vintage secretary with the most amazing long beautiful legs! I actually walked by this piece twice before I noticed her--she was so dark and frumpy looking.
But just look at her now! She's all freshened up in Antibes green chalk paint {Annie Sloan}. The entire piece got two coats of ASCP, a light distressing and a coat of clear wax!
A fun, fresh pop of color for an entry way, living room, or hallway.
{I'm head over heels for my new olive basket too. I scored that at a local junk market a few weeks back}
Those legs go on and on!
...and the small beading on the drawer is such a sweet touch.
I only distress the areas that I would expect to see natural wear marks; corners, edges, drawer etc.
I left the inside natural because I like the contrast of the dark stain and green.{refinishing the inside would have been insanely time consuming, so glad it worked by leaving it natural}
Lots of cubbies to store all those bills, letters and papers!
Here she is before, getting a thorough once over by Greta:)
