Need help bringing the illusion of outside in

My office is moving from a wonderful space with huge windows and a high ceiling to a space with low ceilings, no windows, and approximately 60% of the space we now have. To top it off we need to have 78" cubicle walls all over the space. It is a FEMA space so we will not be able to build or attach anything to the walls except for pictures for another 3 years or so, we can however hang or attach things on the cubicle walls. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Succulents in light weight planters, and few landscape pics/posters. That got me through some cubicle years. :)

That sounds like a good idea. My brain went to stained pallet against the largest cubicle wall with small pots of plats hanging on it. Kind of living art?!?

    Oh, now that sounds awesome!

OMG What is wrong with companies that create such negative working spaces. 6' cubicle walls? It affects employee satisfaction and productivity. I'd be looking at a lightweight mirror or two, a pic that has perspective, and some greenery - and a new job..

"Collections, Etc." has some wall decals. So does the $1 store. Some really nice ones at the dollar store. The "Collections, Etc" are a little larger. Could fit on your cubbie. Sad thing for you all.

@Cathey DeRosa Thank you for the information on the wall decals. I will definitely take a look at them.

What about mirrored squares that can be attached with double sided Velcro?

@Funnygirl Are you talking about the larger mirrors that you put in a pattern on the wall?

I just saw on a site; can't remember; dollar store mirrors duct taped together. They looked fine. You can also get wreath hangers in different colors to hang artwork, wreaths collectibles, etc. Would also put a tall artistic vase in the corner with long flowing grass, cattails and maybe some colorful or sparkley tall decorative stems. I've seen them at the dollar store also. The tall vase, unless you have one could be your expensive item unless you're a thrifter. Wouldn't spend much if you're trying to get a new job. Good luck in your endeavors. This site is wonderful for helping others.

@Cathey DeRosa Thank you for your wonderful ideas. I don't have to worry a lot about the expense because the office will be paying for it, but I also don't want them to pay too much. It's not the fault of the office but the higher ups that are moving us. We found some amazing outdoor scenes on etsy that we can use for a full wall to give the small walled offices a larger look. I think I'm going with mirrors and plants for the cubicles and the reception area. You are definitely right, this site is amazing. I just landed on it by accident the other day and it is my first stop in the morning!

Yep, there are some cool people on here. So creative in thinking, also. It's always the "higher ups" that cause all problems, esp. something like FEMA. You will have it all beautiful by the time you're through. You just wait and see.
