You want to make a change to your cluttered and unorganized life, but despite Kondo recommending a year, you only have a few minutes. Never fear! I'm here with some quick and easy ways to tidy up those nasty cords in your life with four projects.
Bread Clip Plug Organizer:

Want a simple and quick way to rid yourself of tangled and disorganized cords in your home? Say no more! Best part? You already have the materials you need.
Check your cabinet and steal the bread clips to your loaves of bread, just twist or knot the bag so your bread doesn’t go bad in the process of this DIY :)
Next, simply take a black sharpie marker and start labeling which clip will belong to which cord. Then, attach the clips to their respective plugs.
Voila!

Your wires are organized, with no more confusion, and you are one step closer to having a tidier lifestyle. If you'd like more incredible organizing tips for Marie Kondo, you can listen (for FREE) to her bestselling book by going to:  www.audible.com/hometalk
Puzzle Piece Headphone Holder:

What is one cord we have on a daily basis that gets tangled and knotted? That we spend precious time unknotting instead of enjoying?

Your headphones!

For this project just simply take a jumbo sized puzzle piece. Can be from an unused puzzle or from a box your child no longer uses.
Then simply cut an indent on the sides using an x-acto knife.
Voila!

You now have a fun and easy way of wrapping up your headphones, and it can be fun and playful depending on what kind of puzzle piece you have.
Super simple, and helps you get a cord you use on a daily basis in order.
Organize With Washi Tape And Binder Clips:

Now, there’s a simple trick, one that involves some washi tape and binder clips.

There’s so many colors, sizes, and patterns for washi tape. You can categorizes which plug goes to which appliance or device easy with the tape.
Simply, take some binder clips.

Then, cover them in washi tape. Boom! You’re almost done, just one more tiny step.
Use the same washi tape on the appliance the plug goes to.

For me, I covered my iPhone charger in the same washi tape as the binder clips that will hold the wire for me.
Voila!

Now instead of rummaging through all of the cords in your house, you have these handy binder clips holding your cords all nice and pretty and not in a tangled mess. Best part? The brighter the washi tape, the faster you will notice the cord.

Easy peezy lemon squeezy!

Clothespin Headphone Holders:

We’ve all been there, you're on the go and you put your hand into your pocket to get your headphones. You want to drown out the noise of the city or tune into some great music by your favorite band, but when you go to pull out your headphones you either can't find it or it is a tangled mess.

Not cute, and certainly not fun.

First purchase a pack of clothespins, glue, washi tape, and get your handy dandy x-acto knife.
Take 2 clothespins, and glue them on top of each other, but make sure the ends of the clothespins are opposite of each other or different ends.

Don't put too much glue, just enough to get the job done.
Next, after drying, take your washi tape and simply put it on the top and bottom of the glued together pins.

You can get super creative with this, you can paint them, put sequins or glitter, and what ever else for your fancy. Make it fun, it's your personal organizing tool!
Voila!

Now you have a neat way of keeping your headphones in order, without digging or detangling to enjoy some good music.

This is a great little craft for kids and teens, that way they can pop their headphones in without asking you where it is or freaking out! These nifty tips and tricks were inspired from Marie Kondo's The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. Don't you think you'll pick up some more wonderful ideas if you listen, too? I love your clever ideas. Any suggestions for larger cords, such as computer and extension cords?
