Flip This House in Three Weeks

My husband and I worked together to flip this cute little 1924 home. The house was completely gutted and rebuilt in just three short weeks. All new electrical and plumbing were installed. Sheetrock and plaster repairs were made. All new paint, baseboards, carpet, marble tile, switch plates, counter tops, outlet covers, vent covers, room vents and so much more was used for the update. A new laundry room was built and the detached garage was updated. There are so many great ideas to add a modern flair but still keep the 1920's charm. http://thecontractorchronicles.com/2014/01/24/alden-street-house-reveal/

@Amanda Jones: The work you have done here is fabulous. I don't know how you did it so fast. I would probably have kept the wood floors in the living room since I love wood and have pets that shed! :) What a great job! Congrats!

@Lisa Endicott Thank you so much! We wanted to leave the wood floors in the front room because we also love wood - but the corners were water damaged so badly under the tile that we would have had to replace all the wood - which would have taken away from the charm of the home too. When it came down to time and money... we sadly had to go with carpet. I was glad we were able to leave the wood floors in the master... they really are lovely!
