How to Give Curb Appeal to a New Business!

My husband & I decided to relocate to a small town that was closer to our family, that meant selling a successful business that I had owned for 24 yrs to follow our dream! So I found this little building in our new town & had a vision.
Before picture
As you can see it lacked curb appeal! We 1st took down th old awnings & use the frames to make new ones by simply attaching wood to them & staining with Early American stain. We also made wood shutters to give it the rustic look we were after. The hair salon is located close to Gatlinburg, TN & I love the rustic feel of the area.
We took down the old iron bannisters & put up new wood bannisters stained in in the Early American stain to match the awnings & shutters.
I painted the porch black & also the underpinning, which gave it a much needed face lift.
The door was a boring white & not very welcoming. I painted it red with chalk paint, two coats of red, then went over it with the deep brown wax which gave it an aged look. I let that dry & then applied a clear coat of poly. I took the mailbox down & sprayed it red also.
I found a bunch of old galvanized buckets & used for planting some fall mums.
The rocks around the planters came from around the lake area near by, free & plentiful!
Found this old bike for $60 & turned it into a planter for the front of the salon. Painted the blue part of the bike red, & saving the rusty parts as much as I could.
All of this was done with a little imagination, hard work & low budget!
I wanted a place that would draw the eye, feel warm & welcoming for my new clients! Next I'll post what we've done to the inside!

To do this, you must always be in touch with your customers. I use social media customer service outsourcing for this. I use this service recently, but I have already seen the result, there are always customers, and the profit in business is growing.
