3 Tiny Houses With Big Style by Oregon Cottage Company

The owner of Oregon Cottage Company doesn't just build these great tiny houses, but he's also an active proponent of tiny living and over the years he downsized from a 740sf cottage to a 450sf Yurt, and finally to an 84sf VW van. As an architect he has worked on all sorts of buildings, from residential to commercial, but his passion lies in creating beautiful small spaces to live and today he owns a company that allows him to focus on doing just that.
The "Ynez" is one of three tiny house models he has listed, and is perhaps the nicest one yet. It features a dormer style loft area that provides ample space to move around, unlike many others we see with a pitched roof that seems prone to head-smashing.
His homes are built complete, and ready to go. For about $40k you can get something like what you see here, and it comes with everything you need to live including a kitchen, composting toilet with ventilation, tub with shower surround, storage closet with a washer/dryer combo, recessed lighting and more.
The "Alsek" version features a bit less of a finished product and is meant for the person looking to put their own finishing touches on their tiny house. The house doesn't include finished flooring or interior partitions, making it a good choice for those looking to arrange the floor plan their own way.
The "Siskiyou" model was their prototype, and reflects a more traditional design we've seen in other tiny houses. The big pitched roof adds to the sense of space, and while cozy it includes everything you need to live comfortably.
