Apartment Homes- ideas for temporary spruce ups?

by Jay
Is there a specific area, section or topic that talks about temporary things one can do to Spruce Up - an apartment ot Make it more Homey without putting a lot of holes in the walls or permanently changing things? It's the first time I'm living in an apartment in 36 years and it's rather blah. Thank you.

Change accessories. For sofa change pillows or get pillow covers. Change decorations for different seasons.

Forget the walls and concentrate on the floors. Have wall-to-wall carpet? No problem. Put an area rug over the carpet (use a rug to carpet under pad). Invest in tall indoor plants and use up lighting with grow bulbs in them. Use interesting lamps and enjoy your new spot!

Buy a new shower curtain in a bold pattern or bright colors. Stash everything possible in baskets, in boxes, out of sight, or covered up. Get rid if things you don’t use unless it makes you very happy. Have lots of reflective surfaces like mirrors, pictures, glass top tables, polished wood. Put a welcome/welcome home sign near the door from which you enter your home. 😇
