Local town is not good for yard sales so need other options. Want to move to a low income apartment in town.

Place a add on crags list,and your local penny saver.
Hire someone that handles estate sales. They take care of everything and get paid by an agreed upon percentage of sales.
However, they usually want to come to your home. Craisgslist is a great option. You can divvy up the stuff by catagory and they will come to your home. It's not a yarn/garage sale so the city can not complain.
I'm downsizing, and sell small, low cost items via Craigslist, and valuable items on ebay. Ebay stuff sells quickly for excellent prices, where as CL stuff can take a long time for the right person to view your item(s).
Be very careful with Craigslist!!! My sister & I got scammed when we were trying to close out our Mom's house. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO ANYONE OFFERING TO BUY IT ALL!
Post pictures on letgo site, Facebook or even Craigslist. I just found out that Facebook has this option. So many people advertise on these sites as well as check them out when looking for items to buy.
I met a gal at the diner about three blocks from my house when we were buying something....worked out great. As long as it will fit in your car, you should meet people at a place where there are other people.
