How can I keep some wood trim and still give the room a new look?

Wood stained crown molding, chair rail, base boards and windows and around door in living room, kitchen, foyer and dining area.

    Prime and paint. White is the trim color of choice.

    I would paint it all as well. It will modernize the room and brighten it as well.

    Yes the best and cheapest option...brown is an old color from the 1980s and before....todays trim is best in pure white and it will pop against the color of your walls...I have all the trim white inside my home ...I used a satin finish from Behr at Home Depot...love their paints easy cleanup in water based..you will be amazed at the difference white trim makes in a room!
