my Cape Cod house (1950) originally had clapboard siding. A previous owner added cedar shingles on top of the clapboard. Now, One side of my house needs to have all the shingles replaced, , ( due to deterioration/curling) What is the BEST underlyament for the NEW shingles to breathe, WITHOUT removing the original clapboards??
