This three-story addition to the south-facing side of a local home included extensions to two bedrooms, a new bathroom,
a sunny family room, an indoor pool and a screened porch. We super insulated the addition and several areas of the existing structure. Solar panels were installed on the roof, and the home was converted to a Geothermal heating and air conditioning system. These steps helped decrease the home's energy requirements and significantly lowered utility costs.

Cor1382303 on Aug 25, 2015Oh wow, so that's how you would do a home extension. A cousin of mine is thinking about doing a home extension for his home. The only difference is that his plans are to extend the kitchen area of his home and make it go a little bit wider.
