When we moved into our home, I immediately wanted to knock out the built-ins next to the fireplace. Instead, I painted them white and it's quickly become one of my fave places to display photos, decor and knick knacks. Lately all the white just wasn't doing it for me, and I wanted more contrast to highlight my decor.
