1930's China Cabinet Gets a New Lease on Life

My dining room, though nice, was looking dark and heavy. ASCP Old Ochre is giving our dining room a fresh new look. The latest project is this 1930's china cabinet.
Before the china cabinet was nice, but needed something to bring it to life.
Sadly the fretwork on the glass didn't make it through the paint process. It was just too brittle and thin and no amount of sanding, filling or gluing would save it.
The dining room as it was on "move-in day". Green oriental patterned wallpaper, heavy silk ballooned drapes and no light fixture.
With the addition of some new wallpaper in a lighter damask pattern, an area rug and new light fixture helped. But the room looked dark and dated.
Now the dining room is looking lighter and brighter, even on a cloudy day. The next step is to paint the table base and maybe the chairs and add some light curtains.
