80's Hutch
My hutch from the 80's just needed something new. I didn't think to take before pictures until I had the doors off.
BEFORE
I asked my sister - what color should I paint it--- she said RED! I thought well I will give it a try. I used a chalk paint. Liked the paint because the wood grain still shows through.
Then I used Annie Sloan wax - left door is waxed - toned it down a bit.
I just spray painted the hardware with a hammered metal. Love the look.
AFTER
That's it - my first post! Life is good!

I have a similar china cabinet just sitting in the garage. I love what you did to yours.
