Antique Hutch Makeover

I bought this little hutch for $20 and was so excited to redo it, but on our way home my trailer hit a big bump and the whole thing fell completely apart. I was so bummed. But I don't give up too easily so I started taking it apart and in doing so found out it was savable. So I started putting it back together and trying to think what I wanted to do with it. I decided on trying something different and using frosted glass spray for the doors and distressing it. I painted the whole thing white and the inside a dark grey With white shelves. I distressed the cabinet and repainted the hardware silver. To get the word Apothecary on the doors I put letters I bought at Walmart and taped off the rest of the glass. I put about 5 coats of the frosted glass spray on it. I do say the letters did not want to stick so this was a process of trial and error. In the end it turned out nice but not perfect, but it was my first time trying the frosted spray paint. I will try it again. After the paint dried I carefully pulled off the letters. I like the way it turned out.

Use in well ventilated area. I used acetone to clean up spots. Scrapes off with a razor blade.
