Buffet Turned Island

$80
Easy
We found this old buffet at our local ReStore for $80. I wasn't looking for a new island or a buffet, but when I saw this one I knew I had to have it. We reused the top from our old island and remarkably it fit perfectly on this buffet and looks so much better now.
The island fits perfectly in our new bright kitchen and dining room.
This is what the buffet looked like it when we moved it into the kitchen. It needed a little cleaning up.
We used the top from our old buffet on this new one. It is a slate top.
The bar stools were added later. They too were cheap ReStore purchases.
It's a great place to sit and enjoy breakfast and also a place for the family to hang out around.
