How to Paint with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint {a tutorial}

I've been reading a lot about Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
in blog-land and on my recent visit to the Luckett's Spring sale I saw
so much of it in action I decided "enough is enough, I have to try
this!" So, I ordered several colors online (unfortunately I don't have a
dealer in my town) and waited for them to arrive. Well, they are here
and I have created my first project! Ta-da! Here is my hutch painted in
Annie Sloan Chalk Paint color: Provence.
You can read the whole tutorial on my blog.

    Hello, I stumbled onto your blog looking at chalk painted pieces on Pinterest saw Luckets mentioned (I go to their shows too) and wanted to share a source of great chalk paint a fraction of the cost of Annie Sloans. Donna Dewberry on One Stroke has an incredible line of paints which I am using today as a matter of fact. LOVE THEM!

    Hi everyone! I have recently become OBSESSED with repainting old furniture and I am currently using AS's old white to update a plain varnished oak coffee table...I am wondering if (aside from buying the pricey AS brushed) you have any advice about brushes? I don't love the :Dynamic Commander" polyester brush I am using...Is there a good brush for chalk paint at Home Depot? Also...I am trying to minimize brush strokes on the tabletop portion of the coffee table...Any tips?
