Teal Metallic Painted Buffet With Stained Top and High Gloss Finish

I had a difficult time photographing this piece. The photos do not do it justice.
This one was in pretty good shape, with just a few finish problems. I cleaned her up and sanded off the top prepping to be stained, lightly sanding the base to be painted.
Cleaned her up, made a few minor repairs and sanded lightly all over. Sanded the top to raw wood and taped it off.
After doing a base coat in a similar color, I painted her with several coats of a teal metallic, sanding lightly between coats.
Sprayed Ralph Lauren Metallic paint
Flipped her over and stained the top
General Finishes Java Gell Stain
Painted the hardware black and replaced the silverware liner drawer with new clean, black felt.

Several coats of High Gloss polyurethane, lightly sanding between coats.

Beautiful. I've never used the gel stains. Are they easy to work with?

What brand of paint was this?

You are right it doesn't show as well as you'd like but having used metallic paint before I know how beautiful she is. Well done, it's a wonderful piece.
