I found 3 free chairs...in need a major help. I live in an apt and decided to bring them to my brother's place to work on them. I decided quickly to get my very helpful Nieces and Nephew involved. They Ended Up doing Most of the Work!

Kids at Work! 15 year old brother work side by side 11 year old twin sisters to help Auntie Me with my Project. These kids love to do hands on Projects and help! Most Kids do!
This is what they looked like. I do not usually paint mid century chairs, but there were painted gold, which I kind of liked but were a hot mess. And those seat cushions were COMPLETELY Blown. The foam was just dust!
After they took off the fabric, and then dumping and pulling the innards of the cushion out we saw the S shaped Springs were still in decent shape. To make them stronger we added some Strapping, which I bought at a thrift store recently just because I like it.
After the strapping was attached, They added the new foam and batting...by staple gun which they LOVED usuing After that the Fabric was added, again, by staple gun! They did a great job with my direction and hands on help from Uncle The Hub!
While one of the kids were working on the cushion the others got to spray paint, which they also loved to do! Great job by all 3 of them. Proud Aunt!
And There you Have it...The finished project! Free Chairs, Some Supplies Bought, Cheap Labor = Priceless Time with the Nephew and Nieces!
Proud Aunt! I was so proud of the kids I gave them 2 of the 3 chairs and will just use one at my work area!
