How do I make space in my kitchen for a washer and dryer?
I have old metal cabinets, can I tear out one without damaging one next to it to add a w/d combo on the other side of sink when dishwasher is in place on right side of sink?

Suzanne, probably. I know that is ambiguous, but you will need to examine how the cabinets are attached to the wall and to each other. Most cabinets are fastened together near the face frames to keep them level and flush. Remove that first before you take out the fasteners anchoring it to the wall.
The biggest issue is you need a separate electricity, it's own circuit. New plumbing with drain, a shut off and a vent for dryer. Needs to be on an outside wall. Don't know how your cabinets are installed, but usually are not attached to each other.
You should be able to. Here is a link for removing metal cabinets
