Suggestions for Natural Gas Double Wall Ovens?

Are there any manufacturers that produce natural gas wall ovens? We have a 1994 vintage 27" size that is due for replacement. To convert from gas to electric will cost about $1-2K plus very high cost of electricity. Natural gas is the more cost effective way to go. Can anyone explain the official rationale why all the major manufactures are forcing us homeowners to go electric?

if you google 27" gas wall double ovens almost every mfg. has one available. they range from $1000. to almost $4000. but they are available. You could also look at your Restore (Habitat for Humanity) if you have one in your area. Sometimes there are remodels in homes in your community that remove the wall ovens, still in good shape, so they can have the latest technology. These can be picked up for a song if you talk with the contractor. Good luck

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately all manufactures only have the ovens in electric configuration in 27" singles in the 24". There are 30" doubles available but do not have any controls like times, convection etc. Like your idea about contacting Restore since I frequently donate to them.

      Thanks again.

Qua, Whirlpool, Fridgedaire, Bosch, and Kenmore make natur gas double wall ovens. The only difference may be the dimensions, but enlarging your wall opening if necessary is much less expensive than converting to electric.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately all manufactures only have the ovens in electric configuration in 27" singles in the 24". There are 30" doubles available but do not have any controls like times, convection etc. Cannot go this route since the 30" oven costs $8000 and there is very limited expansion room within the cabinetry.

      Appreciate your response

      Thanks again.
