There are numerous designs of coffee stations. Please post a picture of the area in your kitchen where you would like to have one. If we see what kind of space constraints you have, we will be better able to offer you suggestions that might work for your individual situation.

      Hi Toni,

Thank you for the pictures. They are helpful.

This area certainly has potential, but clearly at the present time it is underused.

As the walls are angled, it is going to be almost impossible to find a piece of ready-made furniture or cabinet that fits both the needed depth and width dimensions, and, at the same time, maximizes the space.

My suggestion is to purchase a length of laminate counter top and either cut the side angles to fit the two side walls (if you have the right saw and feel comfortable doing this yourself) or have someone cut the sides for you.

Mount the counter top either just below the wall panel's highest ridge or above it, whichever height is best for you and the other members of the household who are going to be using the coffee centre.

Installing the wall-to-wall counter top will prevent items from falling off the sides, make the surface easier to wipe clean, and will make the area seem larger as it will render a built-in look to that part of the room.

I also recommend having a separate garbage receptacle. A free-standing one under the counter top will do the job. However, if you want to go more up-scale, purchase a base cabinet, and install a pull out garbage receptacle mounted inside. Shallow drawers under the counter top would provide efficient use of space for easily accessible supplies.

Hello. You might consider to upstyle a repurposed piece of furniture or a metal cart that you might line the shelving in wood if space is tight

Further to my comment above, to help reinforce the counter top to support the height of the heavy expresso machine, simply purchase a 'leg' and install under the machine. These legs are commonly used with islands and kitchen peninsula overhangs, and are available in metal and wood in varying heights.

If you don't want to build it, you can convert a microwave or television cart. They were very popular back in the 90's. Check thrift stores, yard sales, & marketplace for something that fits in the nook. When you find something that you think will work, make sure to have your measurements on hand. I keep mine on my phone in the notes app for anything I want to pick up.

Buy a 30" high kitchen cabinet upper, of the width that works for you.

Build a toe kick base for it out of 2x4's and then top it with whatever works for you - a scrap of granite, a mirror, wood scraps glued together -like a Butcher block top.

I suggest drilling a hole in the back and through the top, to route cords.
