We have no idea what space you have now. It would all be a guess. Snap a photo so we can see what we are dealing with and attach with the camera icon to the left of this post.
Maybe in an island or next to the refrigerator
A photo or description of the size and layout of your kitchen would be helpful. No real suggestions other than likely in a base cabinet area in your kitchen or wherever there is room.
I would put close to the full refrigerator, 1 cabinet away. If you have an area that is near wine glasses.
Are you renovating and planning a space or are you adding it to an existing kitchen? I've seen people remove the doors on a cabinet above the fridge and place it there.
There are a few considerations for putting a wine refrigerator in the kitchen. Space and clearance are two things to look out for. You may need to remove a kitchen cabinet or two to make room for your new refrigerator. As well, make sure to keep your unit away from any heat-generating appliances like dishwashers or ovens. The last thing your wine refrigerator needs is heat!
As a wine fridge will need to be plugged in to function, unless you are planning to hire an electrician to install and additional line from your power panel to the desired location, (which would be expensive) ,the position of the present electrical outlets in the kitchen will be the determinent of where to place the fridge.
I would buy a free standing one and tuck it in a space where it'll fit. You can even put it next to a bar cart or shelves, so it looks like it belongs.
it depends on the layout and free space in your kitchen you will need to be near an outlet for electricity and if you are putting one in a kitchen you are not remodeling or building then you would just need to be sure it is where you can see it, use it and it fits in
Wine refrigerators are generally mounted in an under cabinet area. You would have to have an electrician wire a receptacle for power of course and wine coolers come in various sizes. Check which cabinet you can sacrifice to put in your cooler and shop for that width cooler. Good luck. Cheers!
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions!
If you have a island... Will need to be able to plug it in
Is there a spot that’s near a plug and would fit the fridge corner under a counter.I put mine in the dining room
We need a pic of the kitchen to see the layout
If you have a Island, that is where we have ours. You will need to have a plug in for it.
It depends on the kitchen, the space available, where outlets are located, traffic patterns, and the fridge size I’d imagine.
Can you send a photo of your refrigerator?
